Predicting survival in patients with spinal bone metastases

Abstract

An accurate estimation of survival is essential in selecting the appropriate treatment for patients suffering from symptomatic spinal bone metastases. This thesis describes the development and validation of a predictive model, meant to assist clinicians in their daily practice.
